Welsh Sport Stars 1970s Series Framed Canvases

Part of our Welsh Sport Stars Series in conjunction with Jon of Oddgods fame.

"A machine & Stamina in Abundance".. the Welshman became British Bantamweight Champion in '77, becoming the first Welshman in 60 years to hold that title. Went on to become Commonwealth and European Champion as well. Challenged for the World Title and during a brave encounter in the ring, was sadly taken from this world.  This Merthyr Legend is revered by many as a great boxer who never had the opportunity to show his full potential and ability in a boxing ring.

Our framed canvas is a 38mm stretched canvas within a traditional picture frame. The simple addition of a wooden picture frame creates a completely new form of wall art, quite distinct to a standard canvas. The thin frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas helping create a floating border.
