Welsh Sport Stars 1970s Series Framed Canvases

Part of our Welsh Sport Stars Series in conjunction with Jon of Oddgods fame.

Born in Cardiff, this combative, midfielder played for one of the best teams in the UK in the 70’s, winning a First Division League Title and playing in the European Cup Final. A fantastic leader, who captained his country 42 out of 59 internationals he played in.

Our framed canvas is a 38mm stretched canvas within a traditional picture frame. The simple addition of a wooden picture frame creates a completely new form of wall art, quite distinct to a standard canvas. The thin frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas helping create a floating border.
