Welsh Sport Stars 1970s Series Framed Canvases

Part of our Welsh Sport Stars Series in conjunction with Jon of Oddgods fame.

This sport star was born in Cardiff. After a number of injuries from rugby as a schoolboy doctors informed him any sporting career was highly unlikely. Fought back from injuries, becoming the first black captain for Great Britain in ANY sport! A rugby league legend whose illustrious career spanned 3 decades.

Our framed canvas is a 38mm stretched canvas within a traditional picture frame. The simple addition of a wooden picture frame creates a completely new form of wall art, quite distinct to a standard canvas. The thin frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas helping create a floating border.
